Staycation at Conrad Bengaluru with Divya Maben

With over 285 guest rooms and 24 stories tall, Conrad Bengaluru is definitely one of our top picks for hotels to stay at in the heart of Bengaluru. All their rooms and suites overlook the iconic Ulsoor Lake. Not a bad view to wake up to, right?

Our room was located on the 21 st floor with an amazing panoramic view of the city and the lake. With cozy sofas by the windows, making you want to spend all of your time there taking in that view. All their executive rooms and suites from the 20 th to the 24 th floor include all-day privileges and refreshments in the Executive Lounge. For us, a  great room needs a beautiful bathroom and our room was a winner.

The marble bathroom had a lovely soak tub, a walk-in rain shower and to top it all off it had an in mirror television. Doesn’t get better than that, does it?

We love our food and love exploring all the restaurants in the hotels we stay at. Conrad Bengaluru was perfect since they have 5 dining options.

Located by the deck of Conrad’s infinity pool with a panoramic view of Ulsoor Lake makes it one of their most romantic restaurants to dine at. We had a candle light dinner at one of their private cabanas. A bottle of  Rosé and a 5 course dinner curated by Chef Dolby Lobo and impeccable service made it a night to remember. The poolside cabana is where you need to be if you are looking for a date night.

Indian Durbar

Indian Durbar made us appreciate royal and authentic Indian cuisines like never before thanks to their amazing Chef Akhilesh. From delicious Indian cocktails to scrumptious kebabs and exotic curries, our dinner was one that we’ll never forget. Make sure to try their Orange Chutney & Mushroom Galouti Kebab. If you enjoy cocktails, try their Madras Café, Kokum Frappe & Rum Panna we’re sure you’ll love it! They also have a thali during lunch hour, which is prepared from local, fresh ingredients.

Mikusu serves Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisine.  Both of us absolutely love Asian food and being Vegan and Vegetarian doesn’t come in the way of having some amazing food since a lot of Asian food includes an array of Vegetarian options. We’d highly recommend their Rainbow Sushi, Vegetable Thai Green Curry with Jasmine Rice and Tab Tim Krob for dessert. We got to try some items from their special Songkran menu which was exceptional. A must try if you are looking for a good Asian restaurant in Bangalore.

Caraway Kitchen

Located in the lobby Caraway Kitchen spoils you for choice when it comes to their breakfast spread. You can find dishes from Asia to the Americas at Caraway Kitchen. With four live open kitchens serving Italian, Indian, American and East Asian food, you get to try all their specialities at Caraway. From a variety of dosas, freshly baked breads, cereals, fresh juices, fruits, and so much more you can be sure we had an incredibly hearty breakfast. They also have a brunch if you are someone who likes to sit back and enjoy a long afternoon binging on a variety of cuisines.

Besides the lovely view from our room, it’s the temperature controlled infinity pool that we fell in love with. It overlooks Ulsoor lake and is the perfect place to take a dip or relax in their lovely Cabanas. Get yourself a fresh fruit platter like we did and a couple of cocktails and unwind while the sun sets behind you.

Wellness & Spa:

Every holiday calls for a relaxing session at the spa, right? We did just that at the signature Conrad Spa. We got their Swedish Massage & Sports Massage to relax and relieve ourselves from our hectic work schedules.

Wellness at Conrad is definitely something that sets them apart from all the other luxury hotels in the city. They have a dedicated wellness floor with the Conrad Spa, a 24-hour fitness center, salon and the pool.
