Located in the Luxury Retail Arcade, at The Oberoi, Gurgaon, The Oberoi Patisserie and Delicatessen offers a world of fresh delights. A wide range of exclusive products varying from delicatessen items, homemade pastas and patisserie to freshly baked breads, cold cuts, artisanal cheeses, condiments and homemade single origin chocolates. The Patisserie overlooks the stunning central water body of the hotel. The floor-to-ceiling picture windows in the retail arcade let in natural light, adding a serene and inviting ambience. The bakery and savoury section includes an assortment of freshly baked breads, croissants, muffins and Danish. The baking schedule is such that there is a fresh bake every hour. For instance, at 11 am, you can have the freshest muffins, at 4 pm, its Quiche hour! This also allows guests the opportunity to watch and enjoy freshly baked breads and bakery items. Fresh breads are baked twice daily, at 12 noon and 3:30 pm. Guests may also have their choice of breads baked on request. The cakes and pastries section offers a wide range of cakes, pastries and tarts. Patissier Saurabh ensures that each sweet delight looks like a work of art. The homemade chocolate and cookies section offers single origin chocolates and pralines. The highlight of this section is the live show window of the ‘chocolate room’ where guests can see the chocolatier at work! On guest request a short workshop or a live demonstration can also be arranged on the art of chocolate making. The delicatessen section offers an extensive selection of meats and a variety of cheeses from around the world which can be sliced and packaged according to the guest’s preference. The selection of wines in the patisserie is a journey across 7 New and Old wine regions of the world with 30 labels offered at present. These are served by the glass and bottle. For tea enthusiasts, the experience of a journey through the most renowned tea growing areas in the world is on offer. Soft drinks, sparkling and still water, fresh fruit and vegetable juices are on offer as well. The Patisserie also offers specially designed gourmet hampers for special occasions such as Diwali, Christmas and Valentine’s Day. Special hampers can also be made for weddings and other events.
