Coastal Kitchen is where you “experience culinary Kerala in one meal”. The only authentic and upmarket destination in Varkala region for Kerala cuisine, this outlet has a menu that divides itself into Northern Kerala region covering Calicut and Kasargod, the Central Travancore region covering Kochi, Alleppy etc. and South Kerala region that has dishes from homes and streets of Trivandrum and Kollam. Some of the dishes served here are lifted from the streets, some reproduced with due permission from traditional homes while some are timeless Malayali classics. However while typical Kerala cuisine outlets are an overdose of South Indian décor, style and presentation, the ambience and service of this restaurant remains relaxed and informal just as any all-day diner would be.
