“An idea can change the world.” – Kitchen With A Cause is a firm believer of these valuable words. This restaurant was started by two friends who were in the travel industry and wanted to do something different and better for society. Our kitchen offers a large menu of delicious dishes. But it’s not just about the food, it’s also about the cause behind it. Kitchen With A Cause provides certified paid internships to underprivileged young adults who have been rescued from the streets by NGOs. These individuals are trained in all aspects of running the operations of a restaurant. More importantly, we help these individuals build self-confidence and realize their potential. After the 6-month internship finishes, we help these young adults find permanent and rewarding jobs in the hospitality industry. We then welcome a new group of young adults to take their place. Our goal is to train as many young adults as possible and give these individuals a chance at a better future.
