The Padmini Haveli
Description
Opened in January 2011, the Padmini Haveli is a traditional house of Southern Rajasthan that was converted into a nine room guesthouse. Located in the centre of the old village of Chittor within the walls of the fort, it overlooks temples and palaces. From the roof terrace, you have sweeping views of the city and the Aravalli hills beyond the Mewar plain. Parvati and Sudhir will welcome you in this amazing place with their beautiful children and ensure that you spend a few days discovering the sights of Chittorgarh while soaking in the village atmosphere. Accommodation A traditional Rajasthani merchants’ house, the Padmini Haveli is built on two stories around a central courtyard surrounded by an atrium that provides welcome shade at the hottest hours of the day. The Padmini Haveli has double bedrooms, rooms for 3 people and a family room for up to 4 people. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom with shower.
