A remote mountain retreat, deep in the wilderness of Kumaon jungles - Pug’s Paw is a small, isolated jungle lodge with just 11 rooms. Situated at an altitude of about 5,000 feet, 30 kms from Almora amidst dense woods, the place is remote, yet easily accessible – it’s just a few kilometres off the Almora- Gopeshwar road. Set amidst 10 acres of undulating land, with a mountain stream roaring nearby, the retreat offers forest trails to explore, peace and solitude to reflect, or outdoor activities to bond with friends and family. The lodging is basic and menu options are limited. The rooms have no TV and mobile signals are patchy. But this is not what you come here for – Pug’s Paw is an amazing nature retreat, a place to unwind, recharge and reboot!
