Half Pint in Little Vagator Should be on Your List of Places to Visit in Goa

Goa is now home to the newly opened Half Pint - at Little Vagator. If you are familiar with Rudy's, then this cosy little taproom is within the same premises. A 22-seater with indoor and soon-to-open outdoor space, Half Pint is India's first collaborative taproom by two breweries - Great State Aleworks and Arbor Brewing Company India.

Imagined, created and brought to life by two friends and breweries, Nakul Bhonsle, Founder of Great State Aleworks and Gaurav Sikka, Founder & CEO of Arbor Brewing Company India; each bringing a unique skill to Half Pint. Among the beers, The Tamarind Wheat Ale, The Orange Ginger Saison and Kokum Sherbet are top picks. If you would like a bit of Goa and an interesting wheat-yeasty touch to your beer, the Life of Poee, an amber ale is one to try. As the name of this taproom suggests, you can have half pints of 250ml pours, which essentially allows you to get through the whole craft beer menu here.

The food menu has been created to complement the beers, inspired by seasonal produce, local flavours, and the vibrant cuisine Goa has to offer. With a contemporary and concise menu with 14 small and sharing plates, the food is best described as hearty, wholesome and rustic. The food matches the beers well and then some. The Mackerel Pate, Fermented Applesauce glazed pork belly, Chicken and Smoked Aubergine, Pan Fried Prawns and the heartwarming Seafood Stew in Lemon and Tomato are what you should definitely have.
