Where to Eat the Best Rajasthani Food in Udaipur

One of Rajasthan's most popular tourist destinations, Udaipur showcases its rich culture through its many monuments, its inhabitants, and its cuisine. The open-air bar and restaurant is situated on the terrace of the Lake Pichola Hotel and overlooks the beautiful Lake Palace. It offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Rajasthani cuisine with interesting meat dishes including chicken curries, smoked lamb, and even minced rabbit. Vegetarians can feast on the Rajasthani Pulao and Ker Sangri. The restaurant is at its best in the evening.

This upscale restaurant is one of the best spots in town to relish the famed vegetarian dish synonymous with Rajasthan - Dal Bati Churma. Besan Gatte ka Saag, a fiery Lahsun Chatni and a tangy Mint Chatni are some of the accompaniments served along with the signature dish. The restaurant is well-lit with elegant interiors.

Muchad Uncle Kitchen is a meat lover's paradise. It serves a variety of chicken, mutton and select fish preparations that can be paired with Indian flatbreads.
